Diesel exhaust in MFS stations has been a significant health and safety issue for many years with Diesel Particulate Matter having been declared a Category 1 Carcinogen in 2012 by the World Health Organisation.

To further assist you in identifying potential Diesel Exhaust hazards in your station or workplace, a Diesel Exhaust fact sheet can be downloaded below which also contains a 5-minute Station check list.
We urge you to view the latest DPM video, complete the check list and raise any matters of concern through the MFS chain of command and processes, including by completing a MySafety report where appropriate. Remember to always request a response in writing, ensure you keep a copy of what you send and please do forward one to us too at info@ufusa.com.au so we can register the concerns raised.
