ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Members are advised that the UFUSA will be holding our 

AGM at 10:30 hours on Thursday, 7 December 2023 at the UFU office at 148 South Road Torrensville

to be followed by a delicious spit roast lunch by Jason of Gourmandiser. The La La Latte coffee van will also again be present for the morning refreshments.

All members are invited to attend to receive a report on our activities over the last 12 months and the plans for the future, including funding considerations currently being reviewed by State Council. In particular membership consultation will be commencing shortly on our log of claims and the strategy for our next enterprise agreement; members are urged to be thinking about and discussing what’s important to you and what you’d like to collectively achieve in the next round of negotiations.

We are also hoping to meet the technical and time requirements for you to consider a change of our union rules to specifically permit electronic communication and ballot in union elections, ready for the 2024 UFUSA elections. This would operate in the same way as you currently electronically vote in ballots on your enterprise agreements. We’ll keep you informed.
